Privacy

Your life is not our product.

Hypergate uses the information you choose to provide to deliver private, chart-aware astrology. This policy explains what we process, why we process it, and the controls available to you.

Scope, companies, and roles

The Leo King, Inc. and 12th House Media, Inc. (together, "Hypergate," "we," "us," or "our") offer Hypergate. The Leo King, Inc. operates the web service and may act as the merchant for web purchases. 12th House Media, Inc. may publish supported mobile applications and act as the merchant identified for an Apple or Google purchase. The companies may process information together to provide one account, entitlement, chart, conversation, support, safety, and privacy experience across supported platforms. Both companies follow this policy for Hypergate information they control.

This policy applies to Hypergate accounts, websites, applications, subscriptions, HyperTokens, generated media, support, community features, and related services that link to it (the "Services"). Apple, Google, payment providers, and other third-party platforms separately control information they collect under their own policies.

Information we collect

  • Identity and account: name, email address, account identifiers, authentication state, profile image, preferences, and account-security records.
  • Birth and chart information: birth date, exact or approximate birth time, birthplace, time zone, coordinates derived from the place you enter, saved charts, house-system choices, calculated placements, aspects, returns, transits, and related chart facts.
  • Content you submit: questions, conversations, attachments, photographs, voice recordings, image prompts, support requests, and other material you deliberately send.
  • Private context: HyperMemory entries, Life Timeline events, relationship context, goals, decisions, and other sensitive details you explicitly review and save.
  • Community and support: public profile, posts, comments, reports, moderation records, support messages, and reply history.
  • Purchases and usage: plan, entitlement, renewal, HyperToken, image, voice, and transaction-status records. Payment providers process full payment credentials; Hypergate does not need your full card number.
  • Device and operations: session, device, app version, request, security, performance, crash, rate-limit, provider, tool, and privacy-safe audit information.

Sources of information

We receive information from you, your device and browser, calculations or content you request, identity and payment providers, Apple or Google when you use store billing, and security or infrastructure providers. We do not obtain a person's private chart merely because another user mentions that person. A saved chart for somebody else must be supplied by an authorized account holder who represents that they have the right to provide it.

Why we use information

  • Authenticate accounts and enforce owner-scoped access.
  • Calculate charts and current or future astrological conditions.
  • Generate the conversations, voice, images, and tools you request.
  • Apply your selected settings, memories, charts, and consent choices.
  • Operate memberships, HyperTokens, receipts, refunds, and entitlements.
  • Provide support, community moderation, safety, and abuse prevention.
  • Measure reliability, diagnose failures, and improve product quality.
  • Comply with tax, accounting, legal, and valid government obligations.

Where applicable, we rely on performance of our agreement to create and secure your account and provide the charts, AI features, membership, and support you request. We rely on consent where Hypergate presents an optional consent choice, including the disclosed AI and memory uses governed by that choice. We rely on legitimate interests to prevent fraud and abuse, maintain service reliability, understand operational failures, and establish or defend legal claims where those interests are not overridden by your rights. We rely on legal obligations for tax, accounting, valid legal process, and other mandatory recordkeeping. You may withdraw consent for consent-based processing without affecting earlier lawful processing.

AI and astrology processing

Hypergate uses OpenAI as a third-party AI processor. Before your first HyperChat or Community publication, Hypergate identifies OpenAI, explains the relevant data and purposes, and asks you to make an affirmative choice. If you agree, Hypergate may send your question and only the relevant portions of your selected charts, conversation, approved HyperMemory, and attachments to OpenAI to generate the feature you request. Community posts, comments, and attached images are also sent to OpenAI for safety screening before publication. If you decline or withdraw permission, HyperChat and Community publishing remain unavailable, while non-AI account features remain available. You may change this choice in Account Privacy. Astrology calculation providers receive only the inputs required for calculation and are not asked to create personal interpretations.

Voice, images, attachments, and biometric boundary

If you use voice, image, or attachment features, the selected content and necessary technical metadata may be transmitted to the providers identified for that feature. Hypergate does not use voice or images to enroll a biometric identifier, identify you through facial recognition, or match your face or voice against an identity database. A provider may process technical face, voice, or presence signals only as needed to render media, detect speech, apply safety controls, or operate the requested feature under its own obligations. Do not record or upload another person without all required notice and permission.

Service providers and disclosures

We disclose information only as needed to operate the service, follow your direction, complete a transaction, protect users, or comply with law. Provider categories include identity and authentication, hosting, database and storage, AI processing, astrology calculation, infrastructure and security, payment processing, mobile distribution, customer support, and transactional communications. Current providers may include Clerk, Convex, Vercel, OpenAI, AstroAPI, Amazon Web Services, Stripe, Apple, and Google. Providers must process information for the contracted purpose and under applicable privacy and security obligations.

No sale, behavioral advertising, or shared personal-memory corpus

Hypergate does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use personal charts, conversations, attachments, voice, or HyperMemory to build an advertising profile. Personal content is not placed in the shared Leo King knowledge corpus, a public model-training dataset, a public vector index, community content, or a shared response cache. If these practices ever change, we will update this policy and provide any legally required notice and opt-out before the change applies.

HyperMemory and conversation control

A conversation does not automatically become memory. HyperMemory is used only when enabled and when an entry has been explicitly saved. You can inspect, edit, archive, restore, or permanently forget an entry. You may also disable memory use for a conversation. Archived or forgotten entries are excluded from future retrieval.

Community, sharing, and other people's information

Community posts, comments, edits, and attached images are screened before publication to help prevent objectionable material from being posted. A failed safety check does not publish the content. Hypergate also provides reporting, blocking, owner deletion, and operator moderation controls.

A community profile, post, comment, or other item you deliberately publish is visible to the audience shown in the product. Other users may save or redistribute public material. Private charts, conversations, support requests, and HyperMemory do not become public merely because you use Hypergate. You are responsible for having permission before submitting another person's birth data, image, voice, messages, or other personal information. A report or moderation review may preserve limited evidence needed to investigate abuse, comply with law, or protect users.

Retention

We keep information for the shortest period reasonably needed for the feature, the retention choice you selected, security and dispute prevention, and legal or accounting duties. Account and saved-content records remain while your account is active unless you delete them. HyperMemory may use a 30-day, one-year, or until-deleted choice. Temporary uploads are retained only as needed to process the requested feature and investigate a failure. Billing and fraud records may be retained after account deletion where tax, chargeback, accounting, or law requires it. Content-free audit tombstones may remain to prove a deletion or security action without retaining the deleted content.

Your controls and privacy rights

Signed-in customers can review or correct profile and chart sources, manage consent, archive or forget memory, export owner-scoped data, and request deletion from Settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to know or access information, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, limit certain uses of sensitive information, withdraw consent, opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling, appeal a denied request, and receive equal service for exercising a right. Hypergate does not currently sell or share personal information for behavioral advertising, so there is no such sale or sharing to opt out of today.

Account Privacy provides an authenticated electronic request channel for access review, correction, restriction, portability review, objection, and consent withdrawal. Data export and account deletion have separate purpose-built controls there. You may also email customersupport@hypergate.ai. We may verify account control before acting, and an authorized agent may be required to provide signed authority. We respond without undue delay and ordinarily within one month. For a complex request or multiple requests, applicable law may allow up to two additional months; if so, we will notify you within the first month and explain the reason. Requests are generally free, although applicable law may permit a reasonable fee or refusal for a manifestly unfounded or excessive request. If we deny a request, we will explain why and how to appeal, complain to a data-protection authority, or seek a judicial remedy where applicable. We do not discriminate against a person for exercising a privacy right.

Deletion and store subscriptions

Account deletion is available in Hypergate account settings and is offered independently of subscription cancellation. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google subscription; the store controls that renewal, and you must manage it through the store account. A deletion request may include a disclosed recovery period and may be limited by a legal hold or mandatory recordkeeping. Hypergate does not claim that a provider erased data until verified provider evidence is available.

Security

Hypergate applies authentication, owner-scoped authorization, encryption boundaries, secret isolation, rate limits, audit evidence, and restricted administrative access. No online system can promise absolute security. Protect your account credentials, review active sessions, and contact support immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Cookies and similar technology

Hypergate uses essential browser storage, cookies, and session technology for authentication, security, preferences, and requested functionality. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies. Browser controls that block essential storage may prevent sign-in or saved preferences from working.

Adults only

Hypergate is intended only for people age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a person under 18. If we learn that an underage person created an account or supplied personal information, we may disable the account and take reasonable deletion steps. A parent or guardian may contact us to report an underage account; we may request information reasonably necessary to verify the request.

California notice at collection

During the preceding 12 months, Hypergate may have collected the categories described above: identifiers; customer-record and commercial information; internet or electronic activity; approximate location; audio, visual, and similar information; user content; sensitive personal information you choose to provide; and inferences needed to provide requested readings and personalization. We collect, use, retain, and disclose these categories for the purposes stated in this policy. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for unrelated purposes, do not offer a financial incentive for personal information, and do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Account-linked information

When you use an authenticated Hypergate account, identity, chart, conversation, memory, Community, purchase-status, device, usage, diagnostic, consent, and safety records may be linked to your account identifier so Hypergate can provide, secure, restore, support, and operate the requested services. Hypergate does not receive or store full payment-card numbers processed by Apple, Google, or Stripe and does not use account-linked information to track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising.

International users and other state notices

Hypergate is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate, which may have different privacy laws. Before a transfer that requires a legal safeguard, Hypergate must identify and document the applicable transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or approved standard contractual clauses. You may request information about the safeguard applicable to your information. Residents of jurisdictions with comprehensive privacy laws may exercise the applicable rights described above. Nevada residents may submit a verified request concerning covered information. Users in the EEA, United Kingdom, and similar jurisdictions may withdraw consent, object to qualifying processing, and complain to their local data-protection authority.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the service, providers, or law changes. A material change will receive the notice required by law and will not silently expand consent-based uses. Contact The Leo King, Inc. and 12th House Media, Inc. through the authenticated Support Center or at customersupport@hypergate.ai. Do not email passwords, full payment credentials, secret keys, or unnecessary birth records.
